According to the CDC's extensive research, "Infants aged less than 6 months are usually protected against measles, rubella, and mumps by maternally derived antibodies and ordinarily do not require additional protection unless the infant's mother is diagnosed with measles."
Well, this makes me feel a bit better - now the window for exposure is 6 months to a year. How will you protect your infant from exposure before you can get them the MMR vaccine?
